Who we are?

React is a voluntary, non-profit making organization, committed to promoting sustainable, equitable and just development in India by working with rural poor community people for social transformation.

React is budded in 1998 under the leadership of Err. Vinay Bhardwaj & his 8 associates. It is registered under society Registration Act, 1860 at Patna, Bihar. Formally, it got FCRA, 1976, PAN, TAN and income Tax exempted registration in the concerned body. Err. Vinay Bhardwaj is appointed as chief functionary by the G.B. He is responsible for day-to-day decision making and execution of activities with the supporting team of full and Part time workers, and volunteers. Mr. Sunil Kumar Singh is working as secretary and responsible for program implementation monitoring and evaluation.

Brief Background of the organization :-

REACT is rendering a laudable service in the area of Rural Development in and around districts of Patna since the year 1999 with an objective to ensure up- liftment of disadvantage group of the lowest economic strata to ensure their active participation in formation of a socially just society.
It believes in Result Based Management practice for over all development in every sphere of life. The lowest rungs of the society are the main target partners of the organization. The chief functionary Err. Vinay Bhardwaj being an ardent supporter of human rights; has devoted his entire life fighting against exploitation of vulnerable segment over one decade.
The organization has more than 20 full time 32 part time dedicated workers to translate meaningful assigned work in to action and making social justice. Besides, it enjoys support of numerous volunteers, local people, CBO's, intellectuals and people from every corner of life in lieu of its humble contribution to civil society. Special drive was undertaken for the sustainable community development, environment promotion, ensuring livelihood, training, education, gender sensitization and awareness generation of people of the project.
